Big Sky Mind offers Buddhism and meditation classes in Missoula, Montana. We are dedicated to the path of awakening and the cultivation of insight and compassion.
Big Sky Mind’s teacher is David Curtis, a native Montanan who has studied and practiced Buddhism for over 40 years. In 1992 he completed a traditional Tibetan 3-year meditation retreat under Kalu Rinpoche and was named a lama (teacher). With his compassionate attitude and warm, engaging teaching style, David makes Buddhist wisdom accessible and relevant to modern students.

“You live in illusion and the appearance of things. There is a reality, you are that reality. When you understand this you see that you are nothing. And being nothing you are everything. That is all.”
